The resort, situated on the south west coast of Sri Lanka, 70km from the International Airport and few minutes away from the historical town of Kalutara on the south west coast of Sri Lanka, offers a unique and rare blend of nature. The IDS software once implemented at Kani Lanka will equip the hotel with all its internal operations such as front office management, food and beverage management, store inventory, purchase, engineering maintenance, membership management, finance and accounts, human resource, payrolls, banqueting and conferencing apart from a host of interfaces. This would in turn enforce a culture where in there would be increased quality of service as well as enhancing the productivity and efficiency of the hotel as well as providing many other cutting edge technology which would empower the hotel to be a head of the competition.

The software also offers value added features such as notification of telephone use, room status, smart card application as well as use of an interactive television wherein one can check bills, activate check-out, order room service, menu display etc which would add immense value to the services that the hotel offers. At present the process is still in the implementation stage and will be complete in two months.
